AI Feasibility Study & Use-Case Assessment

Find out where AI actually pays off in your organisation — and get an evidence-based plan before committing to a build.

Who it’s for

Organisations under pressure to “do something with AI” but without a validated starting point: public administrations, SMEs, and enterprise departments. Typical trigger: management asks for an AI strategy, teams experiment with ungoverned public AI systems, or a concrete idea needs validation before budget approval.

The problem

“Everyone tells us to adopt AI, but we don’t know which use case is worth the investment, whether our data and constraints allow it, and what it would really cost. We can’t commit a budget on a slide deck.”

What we deliver

  • An inventory of candidate use cases, scored on business value, data readiness, and constraints (confidentiality, regulation, languages).
  • For the selected use case(s): a complete solution design — architecture, security model, hosting scenario — respecting your constraints, up to strict “no data leaves the internal network” requirements.
  • A roadmap with phases and milestones.
  • A cost/benefit analysis: implementation, run, and expected gains.
  • A go/no-go recommendation you can defend internally.

How it works

  1. Scoping workshop: your context, constraints, and objectives.
  2. Interviews with the teams closest to the candidate use cases.
  3. Data and systems review: what exists, what is accessible, what is sensitive.
  4. Design and analysis of the selected use case(s).
  5. Delivery: written study + presentation to your decision-makers.

Engagement

Scoped case by case: our clients range from local SMEs to Fortune 500 groups, and the same service scales accordingly. We quote after a first scoping conversation — a fixed price list would not be honest at that range. Where risk is high, we start with a bounded pilot.

Partnering with Digilac

  • We have delivered this exact exercise for a federal State Secretariat: full design of an on-premise AI assistant for a social-insurance domain, including architecture, security, roadmap, and cost/benefit analysis.
  • We are an independent integrator — not a model vendor. The recommendation is not biased toward any technology we would need to sell you.
  • We build AI platforms ourselves (see AI platform development), so the feasibility verdict comes from people who know what shipping actually takes.
